I am currently using the Gemini API through Google AI Studio.
My current Tier level is Tier 1.
I would like to upgrade my project to Tier 2, but even though I have met all the required conditions, the upgrade option is still unavailable.
Tier 2 Requirement:
“Exceed $250 in total spend and wait more than 30 days after a successful payment.”
In my case, I have already exceeded $250 in total spending, and more than 30 days have passed since the payment.
However, the Tier upgrade option does not appear, and the project remains at Tier 1.
I contacted the Google Cloud Billing Support team, but they informed me that Gemini API Tier upgrade requests are outside their support scope and advised me to seek help through the Gemini app community instead.
Could you please check this issue and let me know why the upgrade is not being applied?
