Tier 2 upgrade not working despite meeting all requirements - I'm still on Tier 1

Hi team,

I made a payment to my billing account that exceeds the $100 requirement for Tier 2. According to the official documentation (https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/rate-limits), Tier 2 requires:

  • $100 payment to billing account (met)

    • 3 days since first successful payment (met - it has been 2 weeks)
      However, my account is still showing “Paid Tier 1” on the Rate Limit page in AI Studio. The documentation states that tier upgrades should take effect within 10 minutes once conditions are met, but it didn’t work for me

I have also submitted the Gemini API Quota and Billing Cap Increase Request form multiple times previously but never received any response.

Could someone from the team please look into this issue? I can provide my Billing Account ID and Project Number via DM if needed.

If you’re using prepay and referring to having topped up $100, that’s not enough.
The $100 needs to be actual spend on the account.
