I am experiencing the known AI Studio prepaid balance synchronization bug. On Saturday (Sept 5), I made a manual prepayment of US$25.00 to transition to Tier 1.
After a local VAT deduction of US$4.04, my net funding amount was US$20.96. My Google Cloud Billing Cost Table correctly reflects this as an unspent credit under “Adjustments (US$20.96)” with zero project-level infrastructure or API usage charges. My Postpay history is completely empty.
However, the Gemini API / AI Studio interface is failing to read this pool. It shows an ending balance of US$0.19, falsely triggering credit depletion errors when I try to make simple requests using the Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite model.
