Hello Google AI Studio team,
I am having an issue with publishing my existing app in Google AI Studio.
My app is called Agenda Sonora. The app is working normally inside Google AI Studio, but when I click Publish, I am taken to the “Confirm project and billing” step.
The only option shown is:
Default Gemini Project — No billing setup
And the only available actions are:
- Set up billing
- Refresh
There is no option to use the Starter Tier.
According to the Google AI Studio documentation, the Starter Tier should allow eligible users to publish up to two full-stack apps without setting up Google Cloud billing.
I do not want to activate paid billing or create a new Google Cloud project just to publish this existing application.
Could you please check whether the Starter Tier is correctly provisioned/enabled for my account and restore the option to publish without billing?
I have already tried refreshing the page, but the situation remains the same.
This is particularly important because this is an existing application, and I want to preserve its current project, data, configuration, and functionality rather than creating a new app or migrating it to another project.
