Hello Google AI Studio team,
I am using Google AI Studio with an 18+ Google account, and I created my existing full-stack application in this account.
When I open the Publish screen, it only shows:
- Default Gemini Project
- No billing setup
- Set up billing
- Refresh
The Starter Tier publishing option does not appear, even after refreshing.
According to the Google Cloud documentation, the Starter Tier allows eligible individual Google Accounts to publish applications without entering billing information.
I do not want to enable Cloud Billing or add a payment method.
Could you please check whether Starter Tier publishing is available for this account and whether there is an account-level or project-level provisioning issue?
Please do not modify or delete my existing application or its data.

I am experiencing the same Starter Tier publishing issue described in this thread.
My Google AI Studio project is:
- Project: Default Gemini Project
- Project ID: gen-lang-client-0335713…
When I open Publish, I only see:

I clicked Refresh, but the Starter Tier publishing option does not appear.
There is an additional detail in my case: this application was previously published successfully and has an existing public URL:
The old published URL still works, but it contains an older version of the application. My current Google AI Studio project has been updated substantially since that deployment.
The current project no longer shows a Republish option, and Publish is blocked at the billing step.
I do not want to enable Cloud Billing or add a payment method just to republish the application if the Starter Tier should be available.
Could you please check whether Starter Tier publishing is available for my account/project and whether the previous publication can be restored or reconnected so I can publish the current version?
Please do not modify or delete my existing application, Firebase project, or application data.

Not all accounts are eligible for The Starter Tier. Please check out the caveats mentioned in the Google AI Studio deployment documentation. Eligibility is determined automatically, and we cannot review Starter Tier access manually.
You might want to consider linking a Cloud Billing account to your project.
