Afternoon, I am reporting a critical discrepancy in my Antigravity Pro quota management. Despite zero usage of Gemini 3.1, Claude, or Codex models this week, my account is being hit with a 4-to-7 day lockout across all high-tier models.
Observations:
My Quota Monitor shows 100.00% capacity and a ‘Healthy’ status, yet the ‘Reset In’ timer is enforcing a 7-day wait.
Tier Inconsistency: Gemini 3 Flash correctly shows a 5-hour reset, but all other models have defaulted to a weekly ‘Free Tier’ logic, which makes me conclude the changes are intetnional.
I have not used these models this week, making a ‘usage-based’ lockout technically impossible.
This lack of transparency and the advertised 5-hour refresh to a weekly limit, especially when triggered with zero usage unfortunately is forcing me to reconsider my entire Google Workspace and Google Cloud Console ecosystem. Please clarify if this is a known sync bug related to the new AI Credits rollout or a permanent policy change
I have also experienced the same issue, I am on google pro tier so I am expecting the app to behave like before but its locking me in a 7 day lock down like I have to do my projects, but I can’t. Is there a way to fix this? This has been going for a few weeks without any resolve.
I have noticed as of yesterday that my Antigravity Pro quota reverted to the advertised 5-hour reset window. However, the lack of an official statement regarding why my account, and many others was subjected to a 7-day despite zero model usage is deeply concerning.
Without a clear explanation, it is impossible to know if this was a temporary technical glitch during the AI Credits rollout or a ‘stealth’ policy test that could return at any moment.
The lack of transparency from their side honestly makes it difficult to rely on Antigravity for professional workflows. This experience has forced me to begin evaluating alternative ecosystems (such as Cursor, or private API integrations) before any further ‘surprises’ or unannounced changes impact my productivity or my Google Workspace/Cloud subscriptions.
To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity. Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
Thank you for the policy overview, but it does not address the technical error reported. My account showed 100% capacity and zero usage, yet was hit with a 7-day lockout. Can you confirm if the ‘Pro’ tier is intentionally designed to lock out users who have not consumed their quota, or is this a known synchronization bug with the new Credit system?
If the ‘Pro’ tier is now essentially a trial for ‘Ultra,’ we need to know immediately so we can begin the full migration of our organization’s infrastructure to a more transparent ecosystem.
Hey all, following up after several days of silence from Google.
While the Gemini models are indeed very capable, the current ‘Antigravity Pro’ infrastructure, particularly the shift to a restrictive weekly ‘trial’ for premium models, has led me to decide against renewing my subscription.
To maintain my productivity, I successfully migrated to a Hybrid Workflow:
Using the official Claude and Codex extensions directly within the IDE.
By bypassing the built-in ‘Pro’ gateway, I have found significantly higher reliability, doubled quotas, and zero ‘ Magical Ghost Lockouts.’
It is disappointing that I had to move my AI budget to external providers to restore the uptime I originally paid for. I hope Google eventually reconciles these synchronization issues for the community, but for the time being, I can no longer wait for a statement.
Moving forward with a more transparent ecosystem. Best of luck to the community.
I am experiencing the exact same issue. I waited 7 days for my quota to refresh, and after sending just ONE prompt, I got locked out again for another 6 days and 23 hours on Gemini 3.1 Pro.
