I am a Google AI Pro subscriber and I am experiencing a critical quota lockout bug with zero usage today on my account. Despite not making a single request this session, my Model Quota dashboard is showing lockout timers of up to 167 hours, 59 minutes across multiple models — effectively a full 7-day lockout. Weeks of ongoing issues.
Affected Models & Cooldown Times (as of March 11, 2026 ~7 PM CDT):
Model
Cooldown Shown
Gemini 3.1 Pro (High)
167 hours, 59 min
Gemini 3.1 Pro (Low)
167 hours, 59 min
Gemini 3 Flash
4 hours, 59 min
Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Thinking)
116 hours, 58 min
Claude Opus 4.6 (Thinking)
116 hours, 58 min
GPT-OSS 120B (Medium)
116 hours, 58 min
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Antigravity IDE with a valid Google AI Pro subscription
Navigate to Settings → Model Quota
Observe cooldown timers showing ~168-hour lockouts despite no usage today
Expected Behavior:
Pro tier quota should be available as normal. No lockout should be present with zero usage.
Actual Behavior:
Full 7-day lockout across all primary models — Gemini 3.1 Pro (High & Low), Claude Sonnet/Opus 4.6 Thinking, and GPT-OSS 120B — despite no prompts being sent today.
Troubleshooting Already Attempted:
No usage was made today on this account
Issue appeared without any quota-depleting activity
Same thing happened to me. I hit my weekly cap last week which was supposed to refresh on 3/11 per the pop-up in the chat window, then I log in today and get hit with this.
Luckily, I was able to finish my last task manually and was just going to try something for fun today. But this rolling lockout “issue” is making me rethink my subscription and just sticking to Claude Code.
They did this to reduce the large volume of usage from many people. They had no other solution. The one-week processing time is just a delay, and I bet it will take even longer. The worst part is that those who paid for the package received a terrible, experience .
I’m seeing the exact same thing. I opened my IDE this morning only to find a 7day cooldown staring back at me. This has to be a bug - if it’s an intentional limitation, it’s completely unreasonable for a Pro tier.
I’m already looking into switching to Cursor or Claude Code at this point. If I’m paying the same price, I expect higher limits and reliability, not a week-long lockout.
same here. all my connected accounts show zero quota and a multi-week cooldown even though I haven’t used anything recently. been like this for a while and still no fix. pretty frustrating for a pro tier.
To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity. Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
@chunduriv What you’re describing is a bait and switch. You copying this message across all the threads where 1000s of people are experiencing the same letdown does not resolve the issue. You just lost me as a paying customer, with 1000s of others I’m sure. Peace Google
i also in shock, it went to infinite loop. Same it said it should reset at 3/11, but when i check at 11th it told me 16th, and i thought it is my bad and i didn’t read it well. but then i started paying attention and it is just infinite loop of moving end date to +5 day, even if you are on pro plan
That’s cool and all, I Guess. But shouldn’t this kind of change happen after the users billing cycle with proper notification. Also, Shouldn’t the AI credits be credited to the accounts after Google changed terms. I’m guess I can use flash which may be ok, I’ll play around with it.
