[BUG] Antigravity IDE - Critical Quota Error (6-day lockout) for Google AI Pro Subscriber

Dear Google AI Support Team,

I am writing to report a critical issue with my Google AI Pro subscription and Antigravity quota management that is preventing me from using the service I am paying for.

Account Details:

  • Subscription: Google AI Pro (active )

  • Issue Start Date: February 10, 2026

  • Expected Reset Date: February 16, 2026, 12:34:00 AM

Problem Description:

I am experiencing a 6-day quota lockout in Antigravity, which contradicts the advertised 5-hour refresh cycle for Google AI Pro subscribers. According to the Pro plan benefits, my quota should reset every 5 hours. Instead, I have been locked out since February 10, 2026, with a reset date showing February 16, 2026 - a period of approximately 6 days.

What I Was Doing When Locked: I was creating a website for my work, and then this message came out. “You have reached the quota limit for this model. You can resume using this model at 2/16/2026, 12:34:00 AM. You can upgrade to the Google AI Ultra plan to receive the highest rate limits.”

Expected Behavior: As a Google AI Pro subscriber, I should experience:

  • 5-hour quota refresh cycles

  • Higher rate limits than free tier users

  • Maximum wait time of approximately 5 hours if quota is exceeded

Actual Behavior:

  • 6-day lockout period (similar to free tier weekly limits)

  • Unable to access Antigravity despite active Pro subscription

  • Effectively being treated as a free-tier user

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  1. Verified my Google AI Pro subscription is active

  2. Cleared Antigravity cached authentication data using: Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:USERPROFILE\.antigravity"

  3. Signed out and back in to Antigravity

  4. Confirmed my account settings show “Your Plan: Google AI Pro”

Impact: This issue is severely impacting my development workflow. I am paying for a Pro subscription specifically to avoid long lockout periods, but I am receiving the same (or worse) experience as free-tier users. This makes the Pro subscription unusable for its intended purpose.

Request:

  1. Please investigate why my Pro subscription is not providing the advertised 5-hour refresh cycles

  2. Reset my quota immediately so I can resume work

  3. Provide clarification on whether this is a known bug affecting multiple Pro users

  4. Ensure my future quota limits follow the correct 5-hour refresh schedule

I have seen reports from other Pro subscribers experiencing similar issues (4-10 day lockouts instead of 5-hour resets), suggesting this may be a systemic problem with the quota management system.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, as I am currently unable to use the service I am paying for. Please let me know if you need any additional information to investigate this issue.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Abisheak Shill

Same, finally got quota reset after 5d lockout yesterday, went to bed with 60% of 5-hour quota remaining, and now I have just 60% with reset being in 6 days, 11 hours.

Same here… honestly, I am not using the Claude models now, at all. Just Gemini High and Flash. For simple work - Flash and for complex work - High.

There’s another similar thread here: 🚨 [MAJOR ALARM] "Google AI Pro" Paid Users being Locked out for 167 HOURS (7 Days)! This is UNACCEPTABLE - #25 by partarstu

I’ve also commented that after removing some extensions for quota monitoring and auto-accept yesterday I finally got normal Claude quotas again.

UPDATE: After fully using 5-hourly quota with Claude only twice within 24 hours, I can see again the lockout for the whole week. It means that the mentioned by me extensions are not the root cause and Google further keeps very low quotas on Claude models for PRO users.

Maybe this?

Didn’t work for me! Any other thoughts

It relates to the cases where the account is not correctly recognized - i.e. instead of Pro or Ultra it is identified as free tier. Had similar issue. What happens here is however that the officially recognized Pro account gets 5-hour quotas eaten up quite fast and then immediately gets locked for almost a week. I actually have the same problem with Gemini 3.1 and gonna post it separately.

Google AI Pro subscriber, unable to use the service.

Clean reinstall, logout / login, nothing helped.

All Pro models are looping in a perpetual 5-day lockout.

No problem from Gemini Web / App and from Gemini-CLI.

This is a serious Antigravity bug. Please fix immediately, we are paying for nothing!

Check this out.

I’m also a Google AI Pro subscriber and this is really disappointing

I thought the service was solid, especially for the money. First I randomly got hit with a full week lockout even though I wasn’t using it heavily. After that I didn’t touch Antigravity at all. Today, on the exact day the quota was supposed to reset, I finally logged in to do some coding… and right away it gave me an even longer lockout than before.

This feels completely broken. I’m paying for Pro expecting 5-hour refreshes, but instead I’m getting punished even when I barely use it. Really frustrating, especially since I bought the subscription right before my birthday as a gift to myself.

Google, please fix this quota system. It’s making the Pro plan almost unusable.

I think I have the same problem.

I never reach the quota, maybe 3/5 bars, I wait until the expected refresh… Whithout getting any message about reaching the limit the refresh changes to days instead of hours.

Today I kept looking, it said refresh in 2 hrs, then 1 hour, refresh in 30 min… after those 30 minutes the interface still shows 2/5 bars available, but refresh in 5 days.

It’s driving me crazy.

Logging in and out changes nothing.

But yesterday it seemed to work properly, today it’s buggy again. :frowning:
