I am posting this publicly because my Google AI Pro experience in Antigravity does not match the official documentation.
Google’s official docs say that AI Pro users should get higher AI agent quotas in Antigravity, with usage limits refreshing every five hours for Gemini 3 Pro and other Vertex AI Model Garden models. But in my case, I am getting multi-day cooldowns instead of a ~5-hour refresh.
What I am seeing:
quota gets exhausted much faster than expected,
both Gemini and Claude become limited very quickly,
reset timers are shown in days rather than hours,
this makes the Pro subscription unreliable for real development work.
This does not seem to be an isolated case. In recent weeks, multiple Pro users have reported the same pattern:
7-day Claude cooldowns,
90-hour Gemini lockouts,
Pro accounts behaving as if they were under a lower baseline quota,
repeated reports that documented 5-hour refresh behavior is not being applied in practice.
Please clarify:
Is this a known bug?
Has quota behavior for Google AI Pro changed recently?
Are some Pro accounts being misclassified or failing entitlement sync?
Can affected accounts be manually reviewed or reset?
I believe this needs an official response because the real behavior currently appears inconsistent with the published Antigravity / Google AI Pro documentation.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We have escalated the issue to our internal teams for a thorough investigation and we appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution.
Same here. Haven’t been using all the quota, just exploring but sadly I got a 52h lockout. Also, even without using the gpt-oss on this morning it went to 40%.
I updated to the new release today, unfortunately, the issue still remains. This is really disappointing when working with Antigravity seriously on projects. It’s really hard to wait over and over. Please fix it soon. We are using your platform rather than others like Trae or Calude because we trust Google. I reported this a long time ago, and so far, there has been no reply from your team. I am a paid user. I hope you can fix it soon.
I tried doing everything that support wrote to me, nothing helped:
Forcing a new “Pro/Ultra” login. Sometimes the application remembers the status you had at the time of your first login. We can remove this by forcing a new “reconciliation” with the system:
Logout: please log out of Antigravity IDE and completely close the application.
Revoke access: please go to your Google account connections, find Antigravity, and select “Remove all connections”.
Please log in again: Please restart the IDE and log in.
Reinstalling the application. To ensure you’re using the most up-to-date software, please uninstall the current application, download the latest version directly from the antigravity.google website, and log in.
Verification of account type and age
Age verification: Access requires users to be at least 18 years old. Please verify your account by visiting myaccount.google.com/age-verification. Do this using an issued ID, credit card, or selfie verification.
Account type: Please confirm that you’re logged in to an individual Google account associated with a qualifying plan.
Usage limits: Error “429” means you may have reached the 5-hour usage limit. If so, please wait until the limit resets.
Matching region and payment profile. Google One benefits for Antigravity are subject to regional restrictions in selected countries.
Check your payment profile: Please ensure that your primary Google Pay address matches a supported country.
Remove duplicate profiles: If you have multiple payment profiles (for example, one for the United States and another for a different country), the IDE may be checking the wrong profile. Please remove all inactive payment profiles.
Wow, that’s pretty comprehensive! Given how widespread the lockouts have been, I think it’s pretty clear the problem is (at least partly) on their end.
Hi,
same issue here.
My usage was heavy, so hitting limits is expected. However, I’ve been seeing this message since March 6:
“Model quota reached. Your plan’s baseline quota will refresh on 3/11/2026 …”
This results in a multi‑day (almost week‑long) lockout, which I can’t find documented for Google AI Pro. Pro quotas are expected to refresh every 5 hours, even after heavy usage.
Since Gemini 3.1 Pro is visible but locked with a weekly timer
Hi, I was told in Antigravity to wait 4 hours for the quota to refresh. After waiting the full 4 hours, I opened it again, and now it says I have to wait 3 days and 22 hours. To clarify, I didn’t even use the model after the 4-hour refresh period the first thing I did was check my quota, and it was already showing this new waiting time.
What is going on, Google? Please fix this ASAP. Is this happening to every AI Pro account?
We appreciate you bringing your concerns regarding the quota to our attention. Please be assured that I have shared this feedback with our internal team.
As we balance giving the best possible quotas and maintaining fairness between users, especially under incredible demand, we’ve established weekly limits for all models. These limits do not apply to Google AI Ultra, which continues to be the best plan for power developers! See Google Antigravity for the latest.
So this problem with quotas has going on since mid January for me. Support is totally useless, first they asked for exact message that is appearing then after days for a screenshot then after days for a video proof. Obviously that was just delaying the process as there was never the intention to fix anything. Anyway if the situation stays the same for another while I will just ask for refund and maybe try other products. Pity since I like this tool but the delivery of the service in the last months was just disappointing
Same here. I just launched Antigravity and instantly got a pop-up saying my quota for today is exhausted. I’m a Pro user and now I’m hit with a 24-hour lockdown on Gemini 3.1 Pro. Pretty frustrating for a paid tier
