Subject: Request for Manual Review – Gemini API Project Restricted / 403
Hello Gemini API Team,
My Google AI Studio project is currently showing:
Project status: Restricted
Billing tier: Unavailable
When I call the Gemini API from my FastAPI application, I receive:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
I have already completed:
- Phone verification
- Age verification
- 2-Step Verification
- Created a new Gemini API key
- Checked the Gemini API Rate Limit page
The API key is loaded correctly in my Python application, but Gemini requests are still returning 403.
This is a low-volume academic/personal project for development and demonstration called FitBuddy.
I would like to use the Gemini API Free Tier if eligible and would like to request a manual review of my project/acc
ount access.
