Hello Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API project access.
My Google AI Studio project is currently shown as Restricted, and the Billing Tier is shown as Unavailable.
When I try to use the Gemini API from my Node.js backend, I receive:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I have already completed:
- Phone verification
- 2-Step Verification (2SV)
- Created a Gemini API key
- Checked the Rate Limit page
The Rate Limit page shows no usage data available.
My intended use is a low-volume academic final-year project for development and testing. The project is called CareerPilot-AI, an AI-powered career guidance and job application tracking system.

I would like to continue using the Gemini API Free Tier and do not want to enable paid billing at this time.
Could you please manually review the restriction on my project and restore Gemini API access if it was applied in error?
I have not included my API key or any private credentials.
