Our Gemini API usage has been completely blocked with the error: “You’ve reached the billing account tier cap and service has been paused.”
Our account is stuck on Paid Tier 1 despite having a heavily positive prepaid credit balance of TRY 47,000. Our past usage was heavily utilizing Google Cloud Credits, which seems to have prevented the automated system from upgrading us to Tier 2.
Because the Tier 1 cap is hard-locked, we cannot consume our prepaid cash to trigger the automated tier upgrade. Our production environment is entirely offline.
Already filled out the request form but did not receive a response since 4 days. Our production pipeline depends on Gemini API so could an admin please manually sync our AI Studio prepay bucket or apply a manual Tier 2 override to get our services back online? Thank you.
