[URGENT] Billing Sync Issues: Project downgraded to Tier 1 (Active Billing / 429 Errors)

Hello Google AI Team,

My projects have been unexpectedly downgraded to Tier 1, causing immediate production disruptions with 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED errors.

Project Details:

  • Project ID: gen-lang-client-0022053381

  • Error Message: 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: "Your prepayment credits are depleted. Please go to AI Studio to manage your project and billing."

  • Previous Tier: Tier 2

Context & Payment History:

  • Active Billing: My Google Cloud Billing account is active, and has an established payment history.

  • Recent Payments: I paid approximately $150 USD for Gemini API usage last month and have no outstanding balances or pending payments.

  • Current Issue: Despite my payment history and active credits, Google AI Studio is reporting my prepay balance as $0.00 and has downgraded my project to Tier 1 limits.

  • Attempted Fixes: I recently change my API keys to other project that still got tier 2, but the issue persists across all existing projects in the same billing. I ask Gemini about this, and Gemini suggest that this appears to be the widespread billing/prepay synchronization bug currently being reported by other users.

Request: Please help us to resolve this issues, since we cannot use and activate GEMINI API KEY for our projects.

Did you get it solve? How? Thank you for the advise as I am running the same issue and reset by Google Team the firts time and now still waiting to be resolved. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
