I’m encountering a critical issue with the Gemini API Free Tier quota reset. My RPD (Requests Per Day) hit 22/20 two days ago, and it has not reset since then.
Even though my daily usage graph clearly shows 0 requests for the past 24 hours (March 10th and 11th), the “Model Rate Limits” table still indicates that I’ve exceeded the limit, and I continue to receive 429 Resource Exhausted errors.
I am currently testing the Free Tier to evaluate the service, and I am planning to upgrade to a paid subscription (Pay-as-you-go) once I confirm the API’s stability for my project.
However, this persistent quota sync issue is preventing me from completing my evaluation. Has anyone else experienced such a long delay in the Free Tier refresh? Is there any way to manually trigger a sync or fix this bug?
Any help from the Google team would be greatly appreciated.
