URGENT: Our AI Studio project was unexpectedly downgraded from API Tier 2 to Tier 1 without any warning, billing issues, or account notifications.

Since the downgrade, our production services have been failing due to Gemini API quota limits, causing a critical outage. Please urgently review our quota status and restore our Tier API limits as soon as possible.

I have the same issue.. my tier was downgraded from 2 to 1.

Same issue here. All 6 of my projects were unexpectedly downgraded to Tier 1 simultaneously, without any changes to billing or usage on my part. Billing account is active and in good standing.

Affected projects:

  • Uso Personal General: gen-lang-client-04154360..
  • Amigo Invisible 3B: amigo-invisible-ai
  • Calculadora Audio Pro: gen-lang-client-06385458..
  • Cursor: cursor-48031.

All projects show the warning โ€œProject has been downgradedโ€ and are now stuck on Nivel 1 / Tier 1. The downgrade appears to have happened around June 1, 2026, based on the error spikes visible in the usage graphs (503 ServiceUnavailable and 404 errors).

Please review and restore the original tier for all affected projects. This is impacting production apps.
