Unable to upgrade plan: "This account is ineligible for higher rate limits through a Google AI plan at this time"

Hi team,

I’m trying to upgrade my Antigravity plan / access higher rate limits, but in my account settings I get the following message:

Your Plan: Antigravity Starter Quota
“This account is ineligible for higher rate limits through a Google AI plan at this time.”

Because of this, I am unable to upgrade or see any subscription/promotional options (while others in my region are able to see and purchase plans directly).

Account & Environment Details:

  • Account type: Personal @gmail.com account (not Workspace / not institutional)
  • Age verification: 18+ verified on Google Account
  • Country / Region: Argentina (No VPN used)
  • Antigravity Version: 2.5.5
  • OS: Windows 11

Steps I’ve already tried:

  1. Logged out and re-authorized the Google account.
  2. Verified that my payment profile and region match in Google Pay / Google Account.
  3. Cleared cache and reinstalled/updated the app.

Could you please advise why my account is flagged as ineligible or help reset this flag?

Welcome to the Forum,

Argentina is a supported region for both Antigravity and Google AI plans, so this message isn’t expected because of your region.

To help narrow it down, could you check:

  • Your Terms of Service country: Open the Google Terms of Service page while signed in to this account and confirm it shows Argentina. Eligibility is based on this country, which can differ from your account or payments settings.
  • Buying a plan directly: Go to the Google AI plans page with the same account and check whether Google AI Pro or Ultra is offered there. Higher Antigravity rate limits come with these plans. If you can subscribe there, sign out of Antigravity and sign back in afterwards so your plan is picked up.
  • Other Antigravity apps: Check whether the Antigravity 2.0 desktop app or the Antigravity CLI shows the same status for this account.

Please let us know the results. If the plan isn’t offered on the Google AI plans page either that helps us route this correctly.
