Unable to log in to Antigravity — account suddenly not eligible

Hi, I’ve been using Antigravity for around 1–2 months without any issues, but today I suddenly ran into an account/login problem.

My account initially showed as not verified, and after trying to authenticate again, I’m now getting the following message:

“There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time.”

I’ve tried reinstalling Antigravity and re-authenticating, but the issue remains.

What’s particularly confusing is that everything was working normally until today, and I haven’t had any problems using the account previously.

It’s also quite frustrating because I currently have an active subscription, and being unable to access the service means I’m effectively losing subscription time while this issue is unresolved.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or does anyone know what could cause an account to suddenly become ineligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I encounter the same issue. It was working fine yesterday afternoon, and when I want to use it today it gave me the exact same prompt. I tried every method but still not able to get it work. I check my pro subscription and everything seemed fine, only the Antigravity (IDE and VS code extension, CLI)

Hi @Mino123 @SK_work_Leung,

To resolve the issue, please try the following steps:

  • Open the latest Antigravity 2.0/Antigravity CLI (not the IDE)
  • Sign in using your affected Google account
  • Start a conversation or send a message within Antigravity 2.0/Antigravity CLI. This step is essential, as it triggers a new account verification flow
  • Complete the verification process
  • Return to the Antigravity IDE, select “Sign in with original account”
