Login Issue: "Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time" in Antigravity IDE

Hi Team,

I am encountering an unexpected authorization error when trying to log in to Antigravity IDE using my personal Google account.

Error Details: “There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time.”

Context:

  1. I have an active Gemini Advanced / Google One AI Premium membership on this account.

  2. I have been actively using Antigravity IDE with this exact same email account for the past 8–9 months without any problems.

  3. Recently, my session got logged out. When attempting to log back in, this eligibility error appears during the authentication process.

  4. I also verified my Google Cloud Console, and the Gemini Code Assist API is already enabled under my project.

It appears my account’s provisioning status or individual entitlement token has become corrupted or stuck on the backend.

Could you please check and reset the Gemini Code Assist for Individuals provisioning flag for my account so I can log back into Antigravity IDE?

Thank you!

Hi @sujit119,

Welcome to the Forum,

This isn’t related to your Google AI plan. Antigravity checks your account again each time you sign in and sometimes it gets stuck asking for verification even if nothing has changed.

Could you please try the following workaround that has helped other users?

  • Open the latest standalone Antigravity 2.0 app or Antigravity CLI and sign in.
  • Start a conversation or send a prompt/message in Antigravity 2.0/Antigravity CLI . (This step is important, as it actively triggers the required account verification flow).
  • Complete the verification.
  • Return to the Antigravity IDE, select Sign in with same account

Please let us know if this allows you to log in successfully!
