API level has not been improved yet

Hi team,

I made a payment to my billing account that exceeds the $100 requirement for Tier 2. According to the official documentation (https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/rate-limits), Tier 2 requires:

  • $100 payment to billing account (met)

    • 3 days since first successful payment (met - it has been 6 days)
      However, my account is still showing “Paid Tier 1” on the Rate Limit page in AI Studio. The documentation states that tier upgrades should take effect within 10 minutes once conditions are met, but it has been 6 days.

I have also submitted the Gemini API Quota and Billing Cap Increase Request form multiple times previously but never received any response.

Could someone from the team please look into this issue? I can provide my Billing Account ID and Project Number via DM if needed.

I have confirmed that my project meets the Tier 2 requirements:

  • more than $100 in successful payment to the linked billing account

  • more than 3 days have passed since the first successful payment

However, AI Studio still shows Paid Tier 1 on the Rate Limits page.

Could you please manually check whether there is a billing synchronization or account review issue for my project?

I can provide the following privately if needed:
