Hi Team,
My project is stuck in Tier 1 and is not upgrading to Tier 2, even though I have already met the $100 spending requirement and my first payment was successfully processed 3 days ago.
Current status:
Billing account is linked and active.
Total spend has successfully exceeded the $100 threshold for Tier 2.
First successful payment was processed 3 days ago.
Rate limits in AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/app/rate-limit) still show Tier 1.
I am getting much lower quotas than expected, which is severely impacting my work.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Regenerated API keys multiple times (both in AI Studio and Vertex AI).
Switched to stable models (gemini-2.5-flash / gemini-2.5-pro instead of experimental versions).
Waited for 3 days after the actual payment was processed (billing was enabled even earlier).
Tried creating a new project and linking billing again.
However, the tier is still not upgrading correctly. It seems like a database synchronization issue between Google Cloud Billing and AI Studio.
Could the team please check my project number and help manually force the upgrade to the proper tier?
