Request for Manual Verification Reset – 403 VALIDATION_REQUIRED Loop

Dear Antigravity Support Team,

I am stuck in a persistent 403 VALIDATION_REQUIRED loop on my Antigravity account and need manual intervention to clear the verification flag.

Account: fe**************@gmail.com
Product: Antigravity CLI (agy) / Antigravity IDE on Windows
Error endpoint: daily-cloudcode-pa.googleapis.com/v1internal:retrieveUserQuotaSummary

What happens:
My Google account sign-in succeeds. Antigravity then requires account verification. I completed the verification on my phone (QR scan shows success), but my desktop client still fails with the exact error:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
reason: VALIDATION_REQUIRED
message: “Verify your account to continue.”

What I have already tried:

  • Completed QR verification on mobile (phone shows success)
  • Attempted SMS verification, but SMS to short codes 244444/96831 cannot be sent from my carrier
  • Tried using the standalone Antigravity 2.0 application to trigger a fresh verification flow
  • Cleared local Antigravity session data and re-logged in

The verification status on the backend does not appear to have updated despite successful mobile verification. This appears to match a known issue where the client fails to surface the verification completion state correctly.

Request:
Could you please manually verify / clear the verification flag on my account for Antigravity access? Alternatively, if there is an alternative verification method that does not require SMS to US short codes, I would greatly appreciate it. I am the legitimate owner of this account and can provide any logs or screenshots needed.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
FY

This is an issue for me too. I can’t send short codes from carrier so I can’t verify my phone even if I wanted to. The verification screen doesn’t offer alternatives either, so I’m locked out of a service I paid for.

Hi @Kawaiidmin,

Could you please follow these steps:

  1. Check the account on your phone. When you scanned the QR code, your phone has to be signed into the same account as Antigravity (fe…@gmail.com). If your phone has more than one Google account, it may have verified a different one.
  2. Sign in fresh. Antigravity may still be using your old sign-in, which doesn’t know about the verification yet. Sign out in both the IDE and the CLI, close them completely, then sign back in. Just restarting isn’t enough.
  3. Give it some time. Wait an hour or two after verifying before you try again.
  4. Turn off any VPN or proxy, on both your PC and your phone.

If you still get the 403 after that, reply with the approximate time of your last attempt (and your time zone)!
