Bug Report: Stuck in Infinite Verification Loop / SMS Shortcode Delivery Failed for Antigravity

Hi Antigravity Support Team,

I am experiencing an infinite verification loop while trying to authenticate with Antigravity Cli and IDE.

My browser successfully authenticates my account and displays the “Authentication successful” page authorizing the products. However, the application itself remains blocked and continues to ask for verification.

The issue stems from the QR code device verification step. When I scan the QR code, my phone is prompted to send an outgoing SMS. Unfortunately, the SMS shortcode delivery fails entirely (likely due to carrier restrictions in my country), meaning I cannot complete this step.

Since the SMS cannot be delivered, my account seems to be permanently flagged and stuck in this loop. Could you please perform a manual backend reset or a manual verification override for my account so I can access the tools?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @meizi,

Here’s what usually gets it through:

  1. Enable international SMS. “Not sent” usually means your plan blocks texts to international numbers or doesn’t have enough balance for them. Ask your carrier to turn on international SMS for your number.
  2. Try another SIM. If you have a second number or a SIM from another carrier, send the message from that one, exactly as it’s prefilled.
  3. Verify from a normal connection. Turn off any VPN or proxy, and avoid cloud machines or remote servers when you sign in.
  4. Sign in fresh afterwards. Once the SMS goes through, wait a few minutes. Then sign out of the CLI and IDE completely and sign back in.

If it still loops after a successful send, reply with your country and roughly when you last tried!
