Cannot complete verification — China carrier blocks SMS to short codes 968.. (request manual verify)

Hello,

I have been stuck in the Antigravity “Verify your account to continue” loop and cannot complete account eligibility verification.

**Account: mi*@gmail.com
**Product:** Google Antigravity IDE / Antigravity CLI (v2.12.2)
**Region:** China
**Devices tested:** macOS (Apple Silicon), Huawei ELS-AN00 (Android), iPhone

**Root cause:** After Google account sign-in succeeds, Antigravity requires phone verification via QR scan. The flow then requires sending an SMS to Google short codes (244444, later 96831 after DNS change to 8.8.8.8). Every SMS attempt fails immediately with “发送失败” / “Not Delivered” on both SIM cards. Chinese carriers block premium/international short codes.

**What I already tried:**

  • Google account login with 2FA (Authenticator + email + SMS to personal phone) — account login works
  • DNS changed to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on Mac
  • Cellular data only (WiFi disabled) on phone
  • QR scan with Huawei phone and iPhone
  • “Open in external browser” on Huawei — still routes to SMS
  • Cleared Antigravity cache and reinstalled
  • Multiple verification attempts over several days

**CLI error:**
```
Your current account is not eligible for Antigravity. Verify your account to continue.
PERMISSION_DENIED (code 403): Verify your account to continue.
```

This is the same class of issue as [this thread about Jio India blocking 96831]( Cannot complete verification — Jio (India) blocks SMS to short code 96831, no alternative method available ).

**Request:** Could a team member please either:

  1. Manually verify/clear the verification flag on my account for Antigravity access, or
  2. Provide an alternative verification method that does not require SMS to short codes 244444/96831

Thank you.
