I am requesting a manual review of a project-level access restriction on a newly created account.
Project details:
- Project: paopao189ai (ID: nice-particle-510012-.., Number: 3667624305…)
- Account: p…@gmail.com
- AI Studio: status “Restricted”, billing tier “Unavailable”
- GCP case: #75911487 (submitted via GCP Account Suspension Inquiry form; follow-up sent)
Symptoms:
- Metadata calls (models.list) succeed with the API key.
- Every generation call (generateContent) returns:
403 PERMISSION_DENIED - “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
- Tested across multiple models and multiple fresh API keys - identical result.
- The restriction appeared immediately upon project creation on a brand-new account.
Steps already completed (per official guidance in this forum):
1. Phone verification - done
2. Two-Step Verification (2SV) - enabled
3. Age information - verified
4. New API keys created after verification - same 403
The project is for personal, non-commercial use (learning and personal automation with the Gemini API). No policy violations. This appears to be an automated abuse-check false positive on a newly created account.
Could a member of the Gemini API team please review the Gemini-side access state for this project, or advise the appropriate remediation path for new accounts?
