Request for Manual Review – 403 PERMISSION_DENIED: Project Denied Access

Hello Google Gemini API Team,

I am requesting a manual review of Gemini API access for my Google Cloud project.

All generateContent requests from this project return the following error:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED: Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.

I have already confirmed the following:

  • Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) is enabled.
  • API requests are reaching the project.
  • API quota is available and has not been exhausted.
  • Age verification has been completed for this Google account.
  • A phone number is registered with the Google account.
  • 2-Step Verification is enabled.
  • After completing age verification, I created a new Gemini API key and tested again, but the same 403 error persists.
  • Other existing Gemini API keys associated with other projects/accounts work correctly with the same application and code.

Project name: My First Project

This appears to be a project/account-level access restriction rather than an API configuration or application issue.

Could you please review the access status of this project and advise whether the restriction can be removed?

I would prefer to continue using the Gemini API Free Tier if possible.

For security reasons, I have not included my API key.

I am experiencing the following error when using the Gemini API:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

Project: OpenManus
Project ID: openmanus-50890..

I am using the Gemini API with the Free Tier and I have not enabled billing.
I have also completed Google age verification.

Could you please review my project and restore access to the Gemini API?

Hello Google Gemini API Team,

I am experiencing the following error when using the Gemini API:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED: Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.

Project ID: gen-lang-client-05483770..

This project is being used for my college project, TamizhOsai, an AI-powered Tamil language and digital heritage project.

I have already completed:

  • Google 2-Step Verification

  • Phone verification

  • Created a new Gemini API key

  • Enabled the Gemini API

  • Verified that my API requests are reaching the project

The Google AI Studio Projects page currently shows:

  • Billing Tier: Unavailable

  • Status: Restricted

My application can successfully perform the Tamil heritage vector search and retrieve relevant sources, but the Gemini generateContent request is rejected with the 403 project access error.

I would like to continue using the Gemini API Free Tier if possible. I am requesting a manual review of the project access restriction and guidance on how to restore Gemini API access.

For security reasons, I have not included my API key.
