Title: Request for Manual Review — Gemini API 403 PERMISSION_DENIED / New Project Restricted
Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API access.
My newly created Google AI Studio project is:
Project ID: godali-5096..
Google AI Studio currently shows:
- Project Status: Restricted
- Billing Tier: Unavailable
Direct REST generateContent requests return:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.
I have already completed the recommended account verification steps: - Personal Google Account
- Age verification completed; account holder is over 18
- Phone verification completed
- 2-Step Verification enabled
- Created a completely new Google Cloud / AI Studio project after verification
- Created a new AI Studio Auth API key (AQ. format)
- The Generative Language API is enabled
- Tested generateContent directly through REST, outside my application
The newly created project is still immediately shown as Restricted and the new key receives the same 403 response.
My intended use is legitimate development and testing of my local software project, GodAli. I would prefer to use the Gemini API Free Tier if my account is eligible.
Could you please manually review whether an account-level security, compliance, eligibility, or Trust & Safety restriction has been applied, and advise what remaining requirement must be completed?
Please also confirm whether the required Google APIs Terms and Gemini API Additional Terms are correctly accepted for this account.
I have not included any API keys, OAuth tokens, phone numbers, or other private credentials.
