Hello Google Gemini API Team,

I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API Free Tier project, which is consistently returning:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
"Your project has been denied access. Please contact support."

Project details:

  • Project name: personal project
  • Project ID: gen-lang-client-058217689..
  • Billing tier: no billing attached

Checks completed:

  • Generative Language API is enabled
  • API key created successfully via Google AI Studio
  • Phone number verified on the associated Google account
  • 2-Step Verification enabled

Use case: Personal development project (a French-language musical theatre coaching web app) using the Gemini API for text-based feedback generation. Low usage, well within free tier limits.

Could you please review the project/account restriction and restore Free Tier Gemini API access?

Note: There is no manual billing sync process at our end.

To restore access to a restricted free tier project, please consider adding some prepayment credits in Google AI Studio Billing and/ or attaching a Google Cloud Billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
