hey everyone, my gemini api project (default gemini project, id: gen-lang-client-0834563974) got flagged with a policy violation warning a few days ago. i’m pretty sure it happened because i tried out a couple of unofficial third-party cli tools from github that used oauth to connect to my google account and hit the gemini api not an official google tool. as soon as i noticed something was off (kept getting asked to “link a paid api key” even though billing wasn’t the issue), i deleted all the local credentials, revoked the api keys, removed oauth access from myaccount.google.com/permissions, and uninstalled the tools completely. i submitted an appeal through the cloud console right after that. it’s been over 2 days now (past the “1-2 business days” estimate) and i haven’t heard anything back yet. my ai studio access is basically stuck. can’t even do a normal chat without it asking me to link a paid key.
