My Google Cloud Platform access was globally restricted on May 2, 2026 due to activity associated with a Gemini API project.
I submitted multiple appeals and currently have the following cases marked “In Progress”:

The latest case has been pending for over one month without any status update.
This was a personal engineering/student project that used the Gemini API to simulate discussion threads for research and experimentation. The project was not intended for spam, social media automation, impersonation campaigns, or any malicious activity.
I understand that some project behavior may have violated Google policies, and I am willing to modify or remove any functionality that caused the restriction. At this point, I am primarily seeking confirmation that the appeal is still under review and whether any additional information is required.
Could a Google representative please advise on the status of the pending appeal or the appropriate next steps?
