I’m hoping to get some advice or see if anyone has experienced a similar issue. My GCP account was suddenly restricted globally for “abusive activities,” which I strongly believe is an automated false positive.
Here is the context: I am a Google One AI Premium (Ultra) subscriber. I recently activated GCP to use my credits and generated an AI Studio API key. I linked this key to “OpenClaw,” which is just a local open-source API router tool, strictly for my personal learning and testing.
I had only consumed about $3 in API calls before my account was instantly suspended. I strictly follow Google’s policies and have not engaged in any spam or abuse. My best guess is that the default concurrency settings of my local testing tool might have accidentally triggered an automated DoS or abuse filter.(Immediate action required: Suspension of your Google Cloud Platform / API project Default Gemini Project)
I have already submitted a formal appeal through the console, but I am completely locked out of my services right now.
Has anyone else experienced this while testing local AI developer tools? Is there any way a Community Manager or Googler here could help escalate my appeal for a manual review? I would be happy to provide my logs to prove it was just normal API testing.
