My Google AI Studio account was upgraded to Paid Tier 2, but since August 7, 2026, I have been receiving the exact same upgrade notification every day.
Subject: “Congrats! Your account has been upgraded to paid Tier 2”
The issue is highly consistent: exactly four separate emails are sent each day, usually within seconds of each other. These are separate Gmail messages, not duplicated rendering or conversation grouping in Gmail.
For example, on August 11, four separate copies were delivered within a few seconds. The same four-message pattern occurred on August 7, 8, 9 and 10.

My account is already on Paid Tier 2, so it appears that the account-upgrade notification event is being triggered repeatedly, possibly multiple times by the notification backend.
The email also contains no unsubscribe or notification-preference option.
Expected behavior: The Tier 2 upgrade notification should be sent once when the account is upgraded.
Actual behavior: Four identical
notifications are sent every day indefinitely.
