Hi everyone,
My Google Cloud account suddenly became fully restricted after recent usage of the Gemini API. Everything was working normally before, but now I see a message saying that all Google Cloud Platform services are disabled due to a policy violation, and I can no longer access any model or API.
This seems to have happened immediately after normal usage of Gemini models. I did not receive any prior warning, and there is no clear explanation about which specific action triggered the restriction.
Has anyone else experienced this issue recently, especially when working with the new Gemini API?
Does Google automatically flag certain usage patterns, and is there a known way to resolve or appeal this type of restriction?
Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Before, I made many requests at once without any problem, but recently I made about 500-1000 requests at once and was notified that my Google Cloud account was locked. What policy did I violate?
Me too. What’s even more absurd is that one of my accounts had its API enabled but had never been used. Everything was fine before, but recently my Google Cloud account was suddenly blocked. Other accounts, which also had normal API usage, were inexplicably blocked as well. What’s even more absurd is that one of my accounts had its API enabled but had never been used.
