START – Seeing 7-day (168-hour) timer instead of normal 5-hour refresh
Quick check (answer these – helps know what's happening):
• Is this a 7-day lockout / 168-hour lockout?
• Timers flipping between 5h ↔ 7d recently (around Noon and Midnight PST for many)?
• Have you used copious / heavy usage lately / multiple full real usages?
• Did this happen after zero / very low usage / immediately on launching?
• Do you have multiple Google accounts / profiles signed in?
If YES to any of the above → Definitely follow the steps below.
If NO to all → Follow the steps anyway (it's safe and fixes most cases).
1. Fix Default Browser + Google Account Mismatch (Core Fix)
- Close Antigravity completely
- Set your default system browser to one with **ONLY ONE Google profile and login**
- That single login MUST be your **AI Pro/Ultra/Personal account** (not Workspace/main/other)
- No other Google accounts or profiles signed in anywhere in that browser
↓
Windows tip: Use Chrome Canary as default (keeps normal Chrome separate for work/personal)
Mac tip: System Settings → Accounts/Internet Accounts – keep only one Google account
↓
2. Launch Antigravity → Perform sign-in / OAuth
(It pulls credentials from the default browser's clean profile)
↓
Does the timer now show truthful 5-hour resets (no forced 7-day loop)?
├── Yes → Success! You're immunized from the security flag.
│ Watch for Windows/browser updates (they can change default!)
└── No → Go to Aggressive Cleanup
↓
3. Aggressive Cleanup (if still broken)
- Remove extra community extensions from Antigravity
- In your clean default browser (Chrome/Canary):
• Sign out of Chrome completely (profile icon → Sign out)
• Clear cache & cookies: Ctrl+Shift+Delete → All time → Cookies + Cached images/files → Clear
• (Recommended) chrome://settings/content/all → Search "google.com" → Delete all google.com data
• Sign back in with ONLY your AI Pro/Ultra/Personal account
- Uninstall Antigravity
- Delete folders:
• userdata/.gemini
• userdata/.antigravity
• %appdata%\Antigravity (or equivalent)
• %localappdata%\Programs\Antigravity
- Reboot computer (do NOT reinstall as Administrator)
- Reinstall Antigravity fresh
- Check clean browser is still default → sign in
↓
Still not fixed? Waiting 5h-12h may automatically resolve, 7d wait may still be required → Edge case (multi-profiles, Mac weirdness, etc.)

│ Tip: For software needing different default browser:
│ - Close Antigravity, ensure LanguageServer process closed in TaskManager
│ - Switch default temporarily → do the sign-in
│ - Switch back to clean Pro profile before reopening Antigravity
