I keep getting this “internal error” and “failed to generate content” message everytime i upload a video clip.

I’m trying to get gemini 2.5 pro to generate captions and descriptions from videos but everytime it keeps giving me this error. I’ve tried multiple accounts, incognito mode, signing out of all my google accounts. Nothing works.

Could you confirm whether or not you are still facing this issue, I tried to generate caption of a short video at my end and it worked fine?

I encountered the same issue when uploading scanned PDF files. The original PDF was 88 pages. However, after splitting this large PDF into 5 smaller files and then uploading them to AI Studio, it worked correctly. Has there been a recent restriction on the size of uploaded attachments?

Could you please check token size of 88 page long pdf, it could be because you might be reaching maximum limit on input tokens?
Is it possible for you to share your pdf file so that I can try to recreate your issue?

Ive been having similar issues - image attached - issue is only on my primary laptop, works fine on other devices.

I would recommend clearing cache and trying again, and if that does not work try re-installing your web browser.

Many thanks for your response.

I have tried clearing cache, using different browsers and also logging in via incognito. Ive also tried to login via different accounts, but the problem still persists with only my laptop. My Tablet and Phone do not have any issues and chats and prompts are normal.

Ill try to reinstall the browser, however having performed the above mentioned steps, what else can you suggest that could possibly solve this issue.

Just wanted to say that I am encountering the same problem on both my phone and PC, I can’t get Gemini 2.5 Pro (and 2.5 Flash) to generate a response when I attach a video to the prompt, and it worked fine like an hour or two ago, all while text only prompt works correctly and smoothly.
