For some reason, I can’t no longer to sync AI studio’s code into GitHub.. I asked AI studio what to do and it told me to revoke the permission from GitHub. I did.
Now I’m having trouble to connect AI Studio with GitHub.. OMG!! There is no way to relink GitHub again in AI Studio!
Does anyone know a way to quickly fix this GitHub by hand?
I’m about to teaching a group of people using AI studio in a week, and now I’m having troubles to sync to GitHub from AI studio myself…this is really awkward…
Thanks for reaching out to us. Kindly log in to your GitHub account, navigate to Applications, and check whether AI Studio is listed under Authorized OAuth or GitHub Apps. If it is not present or the permissions have been revoked, please reconnect AI Studio by reauthorizing it through the AI Studio settings or integrations.
Now sure why, but the Google AI Studio is now listed as one of the Authorized GitHub Apps again!
However, no matter which project I open in AI studio, clicking on the GitHub icon shows me “Failed to load file differences”.
I’ve previously synced projects to GitHub without encountering issues.
BTW, I used another AI Studio account to see if the problem persists, and yes, both of my AI Studio accounts can’t sync with GitHub now… “Failed to load file differences”
OMG. It looks like I need to create another GitHub account for my upcoming lecture class.
[Update] After I created another GitHub account, how do I connect AI studio to it? I can’t figure it out. The only button still shows “Failed to load file differences” and no way to connect it to a new GitHub account.
Please let me know how to get back the first GitHub initializing screen….
I’ve revoked AI studio permission from GitHub, there is no way to re-connect it.
How’s that bug hunt coming? I recently encountered the same issue with the same progression of errors. I can add that I managed to get back to the sign in page where I tried to enter a brand new git hub account. It took me to the developer setting page where I could choose my repos. But since this was new, there were no repos. The only option was the “all repos” radio button, but it was deactivated😒… so the save button too, was deactivated making cancel the only way of moving forward from that page …
I’m experiencing a similar issue, but I’m not sure if completely disabling GitHub and then re-logging in/logging back in to Google AI Studio will solve the problem.
Will this create new problems? The initial problem is this: I have several projects in Google AI Studio (about 10). All of them were connected via the GitHub-related option (Save to GitHub). Over time, three of them lost this connection to the repository for some reason (I didn’t change anything in GitHub itself). The other projects see the connection to their repositories, and clicking the Save to GitHub button in Google AI Studio successfully saves a new version of the code in the corresponding repositories. Except for these three projects. When I click the “Save to GitHub” button in them, Google AI Studio prompts me to create a repository and save the data or connect to an existing one. However, it sees the main repository in GitHub and navigates there without logging in. How can I solve this? And how do you stay connected to all the other projects?
