Hello everyone,
I’m having an issue with the GitHub integration in the Google AI Studio code-writing model.
I successfully linked my project to my GitHub account and have been syncing my code regularly. Today, when I tried to sync the project again, the system asked me to log in to GitHub. I went through the login process and successfully logged into my account, but the AI Studio model doesn’t recognize that I’m connected.
This issue is preventing me from syncing my project and is disrupting my workflow.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi @Dis-cord,
This issue seems to be permissions issue, your firewall could be blocking the integration or any third-party app is interfering the flow..
I just checked upon the integration and it working fine for me.
Please try to troubleshoot this issue from your end and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, thanks!
Any ideas on how and where to start checking?
Because it does log in to GitHub, and nothing has been changed on my side since last night.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give a quick update on the problem I was having with connecting Google AI Studio to GitHub.
After trying various solutions, I found that the issue was resolved by completely uninstalling the Google AI Studio app from my GitHub account (via the GitHub settings page) and then reconnecting it from the AI Studio platform. This seems to have cleared up whatever was causing the authentication error, and now everything is working as expected.
I’ve experienced a few issues with the GitHub connection in the past, so it might be something the Google team should look into. I hope this helps anyone else who might run into a similar problem.
Thanks again for your help!

I just did the same, revoking and
uninstalling, yet it doesn’t help…Seems a bit unstable suddenly. Was working fine for 3 weeks

You mean revoking from github, right?

I uninstalled and revoked Google AI Studio, within Github settings.

I have the same issue. Initially, I have connected Github, however, I accidentally delete the repo from the github and now Google AI studio kinda of lost when I try to save the work to github Repo.
and I tried the same steps you made; deleting all the connection and revoke Google AI Studio from the Github Settings but my Google AI Studio still not asking for new connections to Github and giving me the same errors.
I’ve already tried to delete all the cache, cookies, history, and all the data in Chrome browser, then I tried to open in incognito mode, but it failed.
Do you have any idea what else I could try to fix this issue?

No, sorry.
Now this has happened to me too…
I don’t understand why no one from Google is addressing this GitHub issue….

My bad @Dis-cord.. I have read the comments but haven’t checked the user info.
@Dis-cord @Marcus_Vinicius
Thanks for providing the solution and helping the community.
Have a nice day
But those aren’t real solutions - as you can see in my last comment here. Also, I’m not sure why this thread is marked as “solved” when it isn’t.
Those bugs are still happening.

He did not say this is as solution. Please read more carefully.
I’m having this issue too. I tried deleting Google AI Studio from Github and went back to my app to try deploying to Github and I get the same error.
Something went wrong, please try logging in again
