Yes, all the old ways of fixing this like uninstalling and reinstalling the Google AI app from Github not longer work.
me, too. tried all the old fixes and nothing seems to work. it’s lagging as well with the preview, etc
Ok, so I read somewhere that the problem was chrome so I went to edge, opened google ai studio, then setup a new account on github, then I signed into github with ai studio and it worked, apparently there is something clashing from the sign in on google chrome even though for me they were the same, but this solved it for me.

I tried using Edge and it still has a problem. Can someone help? I revoked access, uninstalled, deleted the cache, and tried incognito, but nothing worked.

same issue persists for 7+ days (that’s when I started using Google AI Studio).
can’t sync my app to Github repo,
tried with other apps, too
tried with “all repositories” and with selected ones,
tried in Incognito mode.
nothing works. “Something went wrong, (…)” or nothing, just hanging on this “Sign in to GitHub” screen, depending on the scenario.
it’s disheartening, hope it gets fixed soon.

It was working just fine for the past 2 weeks, but since yesterday it has started again. So annoying, please FIX it Google team.
I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried everything here, and nothing is working.
I was having issues, so I decided to try a manual approach. I then discovered the GitHub Desktop app (Windows in my case). I downloaded and installed it, cloned my GitHub repo to a local folder, and opened it in Windows Explorer.
I downloaded my Google AI Studio app ZIP, unzipped it, and replaced all the files in the cloned folder. I accidentally did a pull first, then replaced the files, and did a push. After that, everything started working.
I’m not sure whether that sequence fixed the issue or something else changed, but it definitely beats manually uploading files one by one.

I don’t know what caused it, but the team must have had something to do with it.
The only change I made was to close all my browser sessions.
I believe its fixed, i got it worked, just press sign in and if you see the existing app in github, just choose public ad private to prop the Save button active so you can press it. Press Save and it should redirect you back to ai studio.
