Yes this worked for me, but the IDE started as fresh install, all my settings and history gone. Did you face the same?
Yes, same for me. It’s quite odd
It asked me import or fresh.
I select fresh start.
But Antigravity IDE 2.0 does NOT contain the Agent Manager - totally gone.
And if you install the Antigravity 2.0 (first link in the downloads) it installs only the Agent Manager without the IDE, even if you install both only the Agent Manager works - the IDE is gone.
Yepp same. Best option is go to previous releases and download the previous version and turn off auto update. Works just like before with all history and data retained.
It seems like everyone else is experiencing the same problem. I rolled back because continuing down this path would likely make things even more complicated.
It seems the chat logs are managed separately, which could easily cause further problems. 
It must be tough if they’re handling this with the same approach as web updates! Lol

What an absolute farce. Downloaded Antigravity as we are forced too essentially, then managed to eventually find the IDE, installed that but now when I opened the IDE, it opens up to the exact same as Antigravity with the agent mode, and I can’t even open the Antigravity app now, nothing happens.
I had to uninstall both and then re-install the IDE. Ridiculous
indeed! It was almost like I was forced to update just now. lost my ability to do work for the night I suppose?

The new version is horrible and unusable.
It seems like half baked product.
For now, the only option is to go to the official website and download the Antigravity IDE.
The issue is that the IDE installs in a new directory ‘antigravity-ide’ and thus all your past conversations, settings,etc are all gone. This is really bad , and then on top of that we can’t use the agent window.. i liked using both at the same time to talk to agent in agent window and code in the other window.. ugh
on top of that the agents window doesn’t have extensions or support remote ssh, and all my work is remote ssh, so i literally cannot use the agents window unless there’s some secret way to make it work with ssh?

I am totally disappointed from this spilittin of ide and agent manger, For a Beginner Developers like us we need to know what files are changed and what not and how and also the old antigravity was better with 2 window split option
I thought this was an upgrade but it feels like this is the downgrade from the previous version nothing changed

I am really disappointed from this i may be uninstall this antigravity ecosystem from my laptop
SEE there are 2 separate instances here… what happened was that while installing this new version … there was a common .dll filewhich prevented the new installation, if u cance and click the “click here to download manually” link.. u get this… the antigravity 2.0.0 gets executed over the antigravity (user)
This is the issue.. but wen u try to uninstall everything gets uninstalled…
Maybe this release was automated by Google’s Official AI AGENT … that’s y this issue
It’s possible, the same thing happened to me.
So as always Antigravity team! Even i am getting same issue and reading everything above, it seems the Installing newer version is very problematic.
now i lost everything from history, extensions, mcp servers, and every configuration i made before and i will waste at least half a day to get everything back again
