The new agent view is cool but… did you really remove everything else completely? Or am I just holding it wrong?

I was working recently and now it won’t let me log in to my account. I get the following message: There was an unexpected issue setting up your account, failed to make code assist backend request, do you have any ideas about this problem?.

Remove 2.0 and download the IDE. You may also need to try logging in a few more times, and then it should work

So they did like - everyone who’s been using AG as their IDE with auto update push, which is basically a new app, instead of announcing ‘hey guys, we release a new agent app, go check it out if you like… bruh bruh..’

I’m really sick of Google treating developers like an afterthought. I have no idea why I invested so much time and effort into using their slowly-improving-but-still-useful product, only to have them yank it out from under me and replace it with - THIS???

Tried to raise a feedback and bug in the UI but it errorred.

You get the same hot garbage from that download as you do when downloading “Antigravity 2.0”. It’s useless, I’m either rolling back, or finding a total replacement.

I was REALLY starting to love Antigravity. Why am I not surprised they went and … it up like this.

I completely agree with you. I was, to put it mildly, surprised that they forcibly updated Antigravity to 2.0
I’ve written down how I solved the problem…

This was the fix (at least it gets you back to the IDE you are familiar with).

If you have both AntiGravity IDE and AntiGravity 2.0 installed → Remove the 2.0 and reinstall the IDE.

Did anyone tried that approach remove and install only IDE on Mac? I don’t see history in IDE, I hardly believe reinstall would help

where’s my code? where’s my editor? why can’t i see all files? why am i stuck in agent manager? im about to have a mini freak out over this.

Did this and it works, but then chat history is gone. if i then reinstall 2.0 i see history in 2.0. anyone else having same thing or has solution?
