Title: Account access issue - “Failed to list models: permission denied” / “Region not supported” in Google AI Studio

Hi Google team,

My Google account has suddenly lost access to Google AI Studio. It worked fine until 2026-08-14, and Gemini (gemini.google.com) still works normally with the same account and network.

Issue details:

  • Every time I open aistudio.google.com, I get: “Failed to list models: permission denied. Please try again.”

  • The page also shows “Page not found” and redirects to /gemini-api/docs/available-regions.

  • In the browser console, the error is: RpcError: Region not supported. (HTTP 403 on MakerSuiteService endpoints, including ListModels).

  • I tested from two supported-region IPs (US and Taiwan) with a fresh sign-in and a clean browser profile — the result is identical, so this appears to be an account-level restriction, not a network issue.

  • My account birthday is verified and I am over 18; no Family Link restrictions.
