Hello Google AI Studio Team,
My account suddenly lost access to Gemini and Google AI Studio.
Google AI Studio shows:
“Failed to list models: permission denied. Please try again.”
I have already verified the following:
- Google account associated country/region: Japan
- Google Search currently detects my location as Tokyo, Japan
- Age: over 18 and successfully verified by Google
- Personal Google account
- No Family Link or supervised account
- Tested in Incognito mode
- Tested multiple times after signing out and signing back in
Gemini still says that it is not supported in my location, and AI Studio still returns permission denied.
Please check whether my account has an incorrect backend region restriction, entitlement block, or false-positive access restriction, and escalate it for manual backend review.
