Thank you for reaching out. It can be confusing to encounter a rate limit error on a paid account and we’re here to help.

First, please review your current quota usage in the Google Cloud Console to identify the limit you might be hitting.

Check Your Quota Usage

  1. Go to the GCP console and select “APIs & Services.”
  2. Under “Metric,” find and choose “Generative Language API.”
  3. In the “Quotas & System Limits” tab, check your “Current Usage percentage.”

After checking, if you confirm that you have not reached any rate limits or if a rate limit message appears unexpectedly, please contact the cloud billing support team at Get Cloud Billing support  |  Support Documentation  |  Google Cloud for assistance.
