Dear All.. we tried to generate video from a image (refer below attached image sample) using veo-3.1-generate-preview model and received an error

The prompt was given to generate a video with the below image input and adding a sunny outdoor background.

Request to please check this as why video generation is failing.

Attached herewith is the image uploaded with prompt for video generation.

Thanks and Regards,

@Shivam_Singh2 Below is the error message received. The model in the image is not celebrity. Also we are not generating any model here but asking to generate a video with the image uploaded.

”Sorry, we can’t create videos from input images containing celebrity or their likenesses. Please remove the reference and try again.”

Regards,

Piyush

I’ve had similar problems. Veo is extremely sensitive regarding videos of people and will generally refuse such requests. It has something to do with people making fake videos. Even if the person in the picture is not someone famous, she might still look a bit similar to one.

Also, if this is an image from some clothing magazine or store website, then she will be a model! Maybe not famous, but definitely recognizable.

Of course, if you took the picture from some commercial website, then it would also be copyrighted, which is another reason why Veo can’t make a video from it. A simple search shows the dress as being a “Sky Blue Organza Embroidered Lehenga Choli” and thus it’s not your own image to use.
