Urgent: Gemini API 80% billing tier cap warning blocking production release — support not responding

Hi Google AI team,

We urgently need help routing our case to the right Gemini API / Google AI Studio billing tier team.

We received this warning in Google AI Studio:

“Your Gemini API has reached 80% of monthly billing tier spending cap. Once the cap is reached, the Gemini API service will be paused until the limit resets on the 1st of next month.”

Because of this, our production release has been blocked for several days. Our app relies heavily on Gemini Live API for real-time voice sessions, so hitting this cap would directly impact users.

We submitted the Gemini API Quota and Billing Cap Increase Request and opened a Google Cloud Billing support case, but the answers so far point to Cloud Budgets / API capping documentation, which does not address this issue.

This is not a Cloud Budgets issue. It is the Gemini API billing-tier monthly spending cap shown in AI Studio.

We are currently on Paid Tier 1. Most of our usage has been covered by Google for Startups credits, so we also need to understand whether those credits count toward the Tier 2 requirements.

Could someone from the Gemini API / Google AI Studio billing tier team please help route this urgently?
