Urgent: ₹1,000 Cloud Prepay Balance Available but Gemini API Remains on Free Tier

Dear Google Cloud Billing and Gemini API Support Team,

I am requesting assistance with a Gemini API billing activation issue in Google AI Studio.

I have already paid ₹1,000 through Google Cloud Prepay on October 9, 2026. Google Payments Centre confirms that my Cloud Prepay subscription is active and displays the full ₹1,000.00 credit balance remaining.

Additionally, Google Payments Centre displays an active Google Cloud subscription associated with the same billing account ID.

However, my Google AI Studio billing dashboard continues to show the Free tier and prompts me to set up billing.

  • Product: Google AI Studio / Gemini API

  • Project: FECO

  • Billing account ID: 01A2D4-D78D99-62DD..

  • Cloud Prepay balance: ₹1,000.00

  • Payment date: October 9, 2026

  • Issue: Gemini API billing tier still displays Free.

I have attached screenshots from both Google AI Studio Billing and Google Payments Centre as evidence.

Could you please:

  1. Verify that my prepaid balance is available for Gemini API usage.

  2. Confirm that the FECO project is correctly linked to the relevant Cloud Billing account.

  3. Investigate why Google AI Studio continues to display the Free tier.

  4. Confirm whether any additional activation, verification, or billing configuration is required.

  5. Provide instructions to resolve this issue without requiring a duplicate payment.

Please escalate this issue to the appropriate Gemini API billing team if necessary.
