Not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem, I haven’t seen it anywhere. Hopefully this is the best place to discuss it.
I’m trying to obtain an API key for Gemini and/or access Google’s A.I. studio. I am based in the United Kingdom, which I’ve checked is definitely one of the allowed countries listed here. However, every attempt at trying to do so redirects me to that page, and all it can suggest is that I might not be 18+ years old or inhabiting one of the listed countries. I am over 18, and I am inhabiting the United Kingdom (a listed country) so I cannot find any reason as to why I am unable to access the Gemini API/A.I. Studio.

Very odd.
Go to Google’s Terms of Service page while you’re logged in, not to actually read the terms, but to see what version of the terms it thinks apply to you (there should be a line towards the top of the page saying which country’s terms are being shown).
I have solved this issue now, the issue was that my age hadn’t been verified properly. More info can be found here -myaccount.google.com/age-verification for anyone who might have this problem.
