Title: Account Disabled (403 ToS) - Unintentional Violation via OpenCode

Hello everyone,

My main Google account’s Gemini API/service access was recently disabled with a “403 Terms of Service violation” error. I want to be completely transparent about what caused this: I was using my Gemini Pro account through the OpenCode extension in VS Code.

I was able to use it successfully for my development workflow, but I honestly did not realize that routing my Pro account through this specific third-party OAuth wrapper was a violation of the API usage policies. I was simply using it for personal development, specifically working on an app to help find free parking near the UNAB campus in Providencia. I had no malicious intent and was not trying to abuse the service or bypass quotas.

Since my main account was restricted, I have had to use a secondary account just to access Gemini 2.5 so I can keep coding, but I would really like to recover my primary Pro account.

To ensure I am fully compliant, I have already taken the following steps on my main account:

  • Completely uninstalled the OpenCode extension from VS Code.

  • Revoked all associated OAuth permissions from my Google Account security settings.

  • Cleared all local credential caches.

I highly value my Gemini Pro access and am fully committed to only using official Google integrations (like the official VS Code extension or API keys) moving forward. Could a community manager please look into restoring my main account?

Thank you for your time and help.
