Hello,
I’ve been stuck at Tier 1 for a while even though my account clearly meets the upgrade requirements.
Here are the details:
• Project ID: gen-lang-client
• First successful payment around: November 9, 2025
• Total real spend (after savings): ¥50.7K JPY (roughly $330–350 USD depending on exchange rate)
• Time since first payment: more than 3 months now
• The project is already imported into AI Studio (screenshot attached, shows “Imported” and “Paid tier 1”)
• Billing dashboard clearly shows the huge cost accumulation (screenshot attached)
But when I go to https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey, the Quota tier column still only shows “Tier 1”, and there is no “Upgrade” button/link anywhere on that row.
I’ve tried:
• refreshing many times
• different browsers
• incognito mode
• waiting several days
Still nothing.
I really need the higher rate limits for my work… I’ve already paid quite a lot and followed all the visible steps. Could someone from the team please check my project and see why the upgrade isn’t triggering?
