Tier 2 upgrade button not showing even after $250+ spend and 30 days

Hi,

I’m trying to upgrade my Gemini API project from Tier 1 to Tier 2, but the “Upgrade” button does not appear on the API keys page in Google AI Studio.

According to the official rate limits documentation (Tier 2 requires “Total spend: > $250 and at least 30 days since successful payment”), my project seems to meet all requirements. [web:4][web:11]

Despite this, the Tier 2 Upgrade option is not visible on the API keys page.

Could someone from Google please:

  1. Confirm whether my project actually meets the Tier 2 eligibility in the backend, and
  2. Manually upgrade my project or fix whatever is blocking the Upgrade button?

This is blocking our production use case, so I’d really appreciate your help.
