Why can’t I upgrade to Gemini API TIer 2, eventhough meeting the criterias in the documentation?

Regarding my previous response, upgrades aren’t automatically completed. Sorry for the confusion.
If you meet the criteria to upgrade, you will see an upgrade button on the API key page: https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey.

The two prerequisites for an upgrade:
- $250 paid
- Payment has matured for 30 days

Yes, I know that … but unfortunately it does NOT appear (button to upgrade)
Since you now have my ID, can you confirm this should be visible to us?

Your account’s 30-day-aged payments are slightly below $250. Please note that an upgrade to the next tier will be available once your total spend exceeds $250.

now (new month), this is not the case anymore, but still there is no Tier 2 upgrade button, please re-investigate/escalate.

Hi, I am in same situation, trying to hit the upgrade button to pay and meet criteria for TIER2 but on the dashboard I don’t see any upgrade button, any suggestions ?

As per Rate limits | Gemini API | Google AI for Developers, once you meet the criteria, you will see an upgrade button on the API key page. Please review the criteria and let us know if you see any discrepancies.
